Terms are subject to change at any time and will be posted on this page as soon as they are updated. The terms on your current project agreement hold true through your project, however, with any future projects the terms may change according to this page.

PAYMENT

All payments are accepted in US Dollars ($) via Visa or MasterCard.

You will receive an invoice via email that you can use to make your payments directly online.

A deposit of 50% is due prior to the start of any design project. The remaining balance of any design project is due after the design is approved and prior to the transfer of any final files to you or before your website goes live.

Payment plans are available for most projects. Please inquire for more details.

REFUNDS

Since Whipped Dream provides digital products and online services, there are no refunds given at any time, which you are responsible for understanding upon providing a deposit and any other payments to us.

BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN TIMELINE

  1. I will send you an invoice via email to take a 50% deposit before we begin.
  2. Once your deposit is received, I will send you a questionnaire to get the ball rolling.
  3. After this is completed, the design process will begin! I will send you design concepts via email as they are ready and we can rinse + repeat until everything is perfect!
  4. You will be able to request up to 2 rounds of revisions to the design concepts presented, however, they must stay within the scope of the project (a new design concept or revisions beyond the 2 included will require additional fees.) Please summarize any revisions within 1 email.
  5. Once everything is finalized and you are completely happy, you will be required to make the payment for the remaining balance of your design project.
  6. Once your final payment is received, I will add all final files to shared folder I create for you on Google Drive and you’ll be good to go! I recommend downloading all of these files to your computer so you always have access to them!

Please note, all quoted timelines are my best estimates but they are not guaranteed. If you are late in making a deposit or sending certain files for the website, your project could be delayed.

WEBSITE DESIGN TIMELINE

  1. I will send you an invoice via email to take a 50% deposit before we begin.
  2. Once your deposit is received, I will create an online folder on Google Drive for you to upload all applicable files, images, social media links, etc. that you would like displayed on your website. Alternatively, you can also email these to me and I’ll add them to Google Drive as you send them.
  3. Once you have sent me all of the necessary files for the site, the design process with begin. Please allow 3-5 days to receive a link to the demo version of your website.
  4. At this point you will be able to request revisions and changes to the website within the scope of the project. Included are 2 rounds of revisions that you will be able to make to ensure that your needs are met. Please summarize these revisions within 1 email.
  5. Once all requirements are met you will be required to make the payment for the remaining balance of the site.
  6. Once your final payment is received, I will transfer any final files to your account and your website will go live! We will then do a live Zoom call together and I'll walk you through how to use and update your website. This will be recorded so you'll be able to go back and watch it anytime you need some guidance!

WEBSITE DETAILS + ADDITIONS

Website features and details will be outlined in the your quote. If an item is not included in then it will not be included on your website. Requesting this feature or item will be an additional cost, which will be clearly explained to you before implementing it into the website. If you agree to the price then it will be included as an addition to the final balance.

FILES, CONTENT, IMAGES, DOCUMENTS, VIDEO OWNERSHIP

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right to use any and all files, content, images, documents, videos and any other items you provide to Whipped Dream for any project.

You must make sure that you have full ownership of any content in any format before sending it to us.

Whipped Dream is not liable or responsible for any copyright or ownership issues for files, content, image, document, videos or other items used for any project.

It is also your responsibility to send all copy and all pictures (including purchased stock pictures) for your website.

WEB HOSTING + SPACE

You understand that you will need a separate agreement with a web hosting company to host your website. The hosting plan you choose will determine the bandwidth, space and concurrent connections available for your website. I am happy to provide you with information and recommendations to decide which hosting plan will work for you, but it is ultimately your responsibility to uphold, follow and understand your service agreement with your web hosting company of choice.

If your website is on a database, or uses a database, you understand that there are certain size restrictions. Whipped Dream is not liable or responsible for hosting your website or spacing restrictions associated with the hosting plan you choose. We are also not responsible for any server downtime, software issues or any other compatibility issue that may arise after the launch of the site.

AUTHORIZATION

You will need to provide me with access to any ftp, hosting, domain, and/or WordPress account information (usernames and passwords) for the sole purpose of installing, configuring, developing and testing your website. In certain instances, usernames and passwords for other accounts may need to be provided in order to configure special features on your website.

PASSWORDS

Whipped Dream will never share your usernames or passwords with anyone at anytime. It is strongly recommended to change your password once your website has been completed.

This includes: domain registrar, hosting, email and WordPress logins.

WORDPRESS

Whipped Dream is not responsible for server downtime, software issues or any other compatibility issue that may arise after the launch of your site. It will be your responsibility to manage your website or blog once it is completed. It is very important to keep your plugins, themes and the WordPress software up-to-date, as this helps protect your site from hackers and keeps your website running smooth every month. If you are interested in a monthly website maintenance package, please let me know and I will provide you with some pricing options.

WEBSITE DESIGN CREDIT

I usually add a website design credit to the bottom of all websites or blogs that I design. This credit simply says "Website Designed by Whipped Dream" with a link to my website. If you have an issue with this, please let me know.

DISPUTE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION AND GOVERNING LAW

Any dispute under or about this Agreement must be submitted to and resolved through small claims court.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The action of sending and receipt of this agreement via electronic method will hold both parties in acceptance of these terms. Designer as sender and Client as recipient will acknowledge acceptance of these terms through any form of a payment or deposit.

Electronic signatures shall be considered legal and binding.

By submitting any form of payment to Whipped Dream means you understand and accept the terms on your quote.
